Playful Makeup

Hi everyone. So for today's look I used a multiple of products and many shades of purples, pinks, and orange. At first I was intending on going for something a little smoky but it didn't quite go the way as planned lol. Anyways I really hope you all enjoy and here is a list or products used as well as the placement.

For the eyes, I started off with and base and for that I used the NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk.
Next, I applied a transition color to help create the crease and for that I used the Sleek Makeup Ultra Matte palette in the shade Floss. I then built up my crease using that same palette going in with the shade Pout.

Once I got the desired crease, I went back in using the same palette and applied the color Sugarlite to the lid area blending it slightly in the crease and bringing the color to the outer eye to create a wing shape. That color really didn't pop the way I wanted so I used My Beauty Addiction in the color After Party and applied it over Sugarlite and blended it into the pink. I kept repeating this step until I got the desired look I was going for. Finally to help build that crease color I went back in with the color Strike from the same Sleek palette just to help give it that right amount of pop :)

To finish the eyes, I applied a black eyeliner to the lower lash line and water line and smudged the same colors I used on the top to that area adding just a small amount of Black Dog from the Urban Decay Black palette to help give it that smoky look. Applied your wing eyeliner as desired and you all finished with the eyes...!!!

For the lips I used NYX Butter Lipstick in the color Hot Tamale and then applied Sensuous from Beauty Bar Baby to the center for that extra something lol.

Hope this was very helpful to those who may want to retry this look.  Remember you don't have to own these exact products to create this, just any colors that you may have similar will work. Have a great day and thank you for checking out my blog...

LOTD: Neon with a Crease

Hello. So today's look was inspired by a good friend of mine who wanted to do a cut-crease collab. The style of look has not always been my strongest area lol In fact I think it is one of my weakest areas. But with a lot of practice I am sure I will grow and become better at perfecting this type of look. Here are some steps on how to create this look yourself. You do not have to use the exact products as I did or colors but this is just an idea on how I created this look.

Step 1- Apply a base. For my base I used NYX Cosmetics jumbo pencil all over the lid and blended it out.

Step 2- Create your crease. To create my crease I used a small flat angle brush and my Urban Decay's Blacj Dog eye shadow to create the crease and shape that I desired. Be sure to take your time on this that way you make less mistakes as possible. After I got the desired look I was going for I went back in with more of the black just to give it more depth.

Step 3- Building your cut crease.  Going in with My Beauty Addictions After Party (purple eye shadow) I applied it directly over the black making sure to blend as much as possible to help get rid of any harsh line and to create a smooth transition from the black to the purple. I then went in with Korpse Kosmetics Nichkhun (soft shimmery pink) and added it on top of the purple making sure to blend it in as well as taking up just below my brow bone to act as a highlighter.

Step 4- Continue to build your colors in the crease until you get the desired look you are aiming for.

Step 5- Taking the neon pink shade from the BH Cosmetics Take Me to Brazil Palette I applied it all over the lid right beneath where I created my crease making sure not to blend in with the crease for you want to keep your crease as sharp as possible. If you do by chance mix the two no worries, all you will have to do is go back in with the black and trace back over your line :)

Step 6- Add black eyeliner to your water line smudging it downwards in your lower lash line. Then go back in with After Party (purple eye shadow) and blend that in on your lower lash line with the black eyeliner to help give it that smokey effect. Apply your eyeliner to the top lash line as desired as well as your mascara and falsies (an option) and your all done :)

For the lips I just used a matte pink lipstick. But you may use which ever you prefer it is all a matter on how you want it to look. I hope you all enjoyed this look. Until next time, just be you <3 nbsp="" p="">

Color Switch Duo by Vera Mona Review

Hey dolls. So about a week or so ago I received this Color Switch duo by Vera Mona to kind of test our for you all and I can honestly and truly say that this is the best product ever...!!!! If your like me when I am doing makeup on just myself I try to use less brushes as possible. This way I dont have to wash a million of them when its time to clean them lol. What I would normally do is use an old rag to kind of wipe the colors of the brush that way I can use that same brush with a different color leaving me with a horribly stained wash cloth at the end..
However, with the Color Switch I am still able to clean my brushes and use the same one multiple times without ruining any of my wash cloths which is great. All you do is take your brush swirl it around the black section a few times, and like magic it removes all the color off your brush allowing you to use that same brush over and over without dirtying up all of your brushes. The center part is for those who like to apply eye shadow wet. I personally have never tried it but now that I have this baby it is definitely something worth giving a shot.
If you just want the brush cleaner instead of the the duo I would go with the Color Switch Solo. It is just like the photo above, but without the whit part giving you a bigger area to clean your brushes especially if you are using the more bigger brushes that are for the face. And the best part of it all is the cleaning....!!!! Like all you do to clean this product is simply take out the sections and clean with warm, soapy water and thats it. Simple right???
If you would like to see this product in action please check out the link below. Also, be sure to check them out at www.veramona.com to get your Color Switch Duo now.

The Truth Pt 2

Back in June a photo was sent to SCM claiming I was selling her products, when in fact all I really did was mix them together and made new colors which a lot of artist are guilty of doing. What was originally said in that conversation that it made me want to start my own cosmetics line. But again people will say and do anything as long as it benefits them.

The photo at the top  is the photo that is going around claiming those are the colors I sold to make profit. But anyone who has even bothered to look at my page page would know and could tell that those colors doesn't even match the ones that I sold. In fact the colors I made are completely different. Too, I have sold about about 200 jars worth of products which if you asked anyone who knew anything about making cosmetics could tell you that those 20 jars would not be no where near enough to produce that much makeup.

You can ask anyone who has ever bought products from me, they will tell you that the products they got look nothing like the ones being used in photos about me. I never thought that all this would happen or that it would get this far, however since it has I refuse to just sit here and let this continue. Like they say there are two sides to every story, however the real question is which one will you believe?

Under the Influence made it out to readers that I was sending my customers used product and how my work station was nasty and how some have still not yet received their products, totally false. Yes there were delays in getting the orders shipped out due to personal issues that had arise, but everyone who has ever order has gotten their products. I even took the liberty of sending extras to those that I was late on sending them too. When creating new colors I make sure that all of my tools and products are in a clean and sanitary environment. I make sure to spray and sanitize all tools before and after each use to avoid cross contamination. I even spray the jars to make sure they are clean of germs due to processing and shipping.

Everyone is not perfect. We all make mistakes, but if we can learn from those mistakes we can be better and accomplish so much more. Makeup has always been a huge part of my life and no matter what happens I will always continue to follow my dreams.
Making makeup is such a task, and yeah I am still learning the tricks, but we all start from somewhere. We are not born perfect nor do we produce greatness without some minor set backs. This is my set back but it will not hold me back. I will succeed because I have faith. I have true supporters, friends, and family who will always be there for me pushing me to do great and to not let all this negativity destroy me from being who I am.

All I am is a girl who loves makeup. I am a person who has feelings and dreams just like everyone else. I am just trying to inspire people in the way I have been inspired. I just want to make a difference in this world of hatred. I want to take a stand for all those that has ever been bullied or harassed or who has ever felt like they are worthless due to the hateful words of others. Never let anyone define who you are. Stand tall be yourself and rise above those who has ever done any wrong towards you. You will always have those who try and tear you down because in all honestly they hate who they are. They hate to see others doing better than them. But if I can get through it so can you. Someone once said the best way to get revenge on those who have hurt you is by showing no hurt. Kill the with Kindness is what they say. Always smile and never be afraid to take a stand.

The Truth

Must say I really love how fake a lot of these so called "artist" are. It really amazes me how they will believe anything for free makeup. How they will go all out to try and tear someone down. When I first started my makeup page I never in my life imagined all this drama would take place concerning me. I have been called a thief, a liar, a b****, they say my work is no good, and how I will never amount to anything. All this because I choose to not let a certain makeup company "SCM" own me. I would not allow them to tell me who I could and could not use as far as makeup brands go. And its hilarious looking back at all our previous messages she would say how I was such a huge help for her and how she truly appreciated all I did as far as her company was concerned and then all of sudden she drops me because I had received products from another makeup company who she was clearly threatened by.

In her most recent attack on me I am being accused of "stealing" her products and selling them as my own. I never in my life stolen anything from her. The products I did have were ones that she had sent me as gift. And yes when we fell out I did mix her colors and created new ones with them but never never did I sell them. In fact I still have some of those jars as well as one of hers that they are claiming I sold. The saddest part of this all is there were a lot of Makeup Artist who I looked up too and was truly inspired by their work, but now they have all seemed to have gotten sucked up in her game of lies and now have nothing to do with me. They all choose to believe everything she tells and refuses to hear my side. Well that is fine by me. Yes her products were truly great and I loved her eye shadow, but once I found out how two-faced she was I truly lost interest. I have written her a letter informing her how I am strongly considering taking legal actions against her as well as those who are spreading the rumors, however she has yet to reply to my message. I have screen shots of all the messages I have received from her promoters as well as her harassing me and plan to use them all against me. Under The Influence of Beauty has written a very horrible and awful blog about me trashing my name and she doesnt even know me or the real story. At first I was ignoring this and letting it pass, but not any more. I refuse to stand by and let anyone talk bad about me without knowing my side. This is my story.

"We're supposed to be friends" she said. Yet last time I checked friends would never do what she has done to me.

It's so funny how when I had wrote about our fallen out back in December 2013 how quick she was to ask me to take it down due to it bashing her business and making a bad name for her as well as her company. Now she is doing the same to yet it seems to not bother her at all. I guess this is just part of how backstabbing she really can be.

Her only concern was her business. She never really cared about us being "friends" All she wanted and still wants is to use artist fan base as a way to promote her business.

No one knows the ugly side better than her.

She used to talk so badly about how other companies about how they were out to get her and how they would basically stalk her shop and try to buy in bulks just to sell as their own. She was so worried about the competition that she would tell me anything to get be to believe her and to choose her side. And at first being new to the makeup world and indie company I didn't know any better so I believed all the lies. Man how stupid was I. I was so excited to be working with a makeup company that even I believed hers lies.
My biggest regret ever...!!!!!!

Shady People? Wow she really knows what that means. I mean as you see here in the beginning according to her words I was her biggest supporter and stood by her through all the trash talk and yet now noticed how all this has switched and yet I am the one being trashed but do you think she cares one bit. Nope she surely does not.

How can you sit and say its not about attention, yet thats exactly what this is all about. Gaining attention. I expected friendship as well and instead I got the totally opposite. I got bullied and harassed by her as well as her followers/supporters And bullying is never ok. Yes it may seem at this moment that is what I am doing when in fact the only thing I am trying to do is expose her for what she really is.

When I first started using makeup never would I have thought all of this would take place. Never would I have thought that by using several makeup companies in a look would cause so much drama and hate towards me. All I ever wanted was to pursue my dream in makeup and be the best at what I loved doing. Situations like this have made me think twice about following through with that dream. But if I gave it up now that would just be me giving in to the hate and jealousy of others and that is just something I could never do.

So although my name is being trashed by the one person a lot of people seem to look up to and respect, I ask you all this are you sure you can really trust SCM? How well do you know her? I never wanted this to happen. Never did I ever imagine that I would be going through all this stuff and drama. But no I refuse to let it continue. I hope this has opened the eyes of some of you out there. I know a lot will still believe her and take her side because you would hate to lose your freebies, but be honest is free makeup really worth all this drama???

Candii Blossom Cosmetics Review

Hey Dolls. So the other day I received this gorgeous package from Candii Blossom Cosmetics to do a little review on. When I first opened the package I just knew I was going love them. The colors were just beautiful. Today I finally got around to actually doing some swatches of the colors I received and omg...!!! They are just amazing. I honestly can't even chose a favorite out of the four I got because they are all just so pretty :)

In the picture above you will see the swatches of the colors I got and they are starting from left to right

Popsicle Pink- A gorgeous shimmery pink color. It is so soft and just absolutely beautiful.

Next is Purple Rain- When I first looked at this color I thought it was going to be a bit wet looking so to speak because of how it looked in the shell but I was wrong lol. This color reminds me of a plum. When applied it comes off as a deep gorgeous purple color that I think would be great for smokey eyes.

Fairyland Green is I will say my favorite lol. I am not even sure to how to describe how amazing this color is. To me it is a cross of a super soft minty/teal with the right amount of shimmer. I mean honestly it is awesome. Like I am already planning looks in my head using this color.

Finally there is Black Cherry Bomb. All I can really say about this one is that it definitely lives up to its name.

Overall I think these are some really great products. I think all the colors are again amazing. Very pigmented and would go great with just about anything. I will be posting some looks using these colors very soon and cannot wait til I can get some more to try.  A huge thank you to Candii Blossom Cosmetics for sending me these. Please be sure to check out there page and let them know I sent you. As always Dare to be Bold. . .
